About Me

I’ve always gravitated towards a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. I graduated from Portland State University in 2009 with an MS in Counselor Education.  Since then, I have worked in community mental health in both Washington and Multnomah counties as well as working on a mental health and substance use crisis and referral hotline.  I’ve been in private practice since 2019.
Working with individuals to improve their lives is my passion.  I am particularly interested in research about how being in the outdoors can improve mental health as well as physical well-being.
